Eligibilty - 

• Assistant Sub-Inspector (Pharmacist-Qualified) - Candidate must cleared 10+2 or equivalent from any recognized Board with Diploma in Pharmacy from any recognized Institution of State/Central Government. Candidates are asked to go official advertisement for further more information Assistant Sub inspector eligibility criteria.
• Assistant Sub-Inspector (Lab Technician) - Candidate must be passed B.Sc. plus Diploma/Certificate in Medical Laboratory Technology from a  recognized Institution of Central or State Govt.
• Constable (Masalchi),  Constable (Table Boy)  - Candidate must cleared the matriculation or equivalent from any recognized Board. Candidates must also have 2 years Diploma from recognized Industrial Training Institute in relevant trade. Aspirant must qualified trade test. Applicant either have two years work experience in respective discipline or one year Certificate from a recognized Industrial Training Institute with at least one year experience is eligible for the post.
• Constable (Peon) - Candidate must know Cycling and passed Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board.

Age Limit - 

• Assistant Sub-Inspector (Pharmacist-Qualified), Assistant Sub-Inspector (Lab Technician) - Candidate must be greater than 20 yrs and below 30 yrs of age.
• Constable (Masalchi), Constable (Table Boy), Constable (Peon) - The candidate must be greater than 18 yrs and less than 23 yrs as age Limit.

*The relaxation in age limit will extended according to the guidelines of BSF Recruitment 2012.

Selection Procedure: The candidates will have to clear the written exam for being short-listed for the interview. The candidates who perform well in the Objective exam will be called for further personal interview for selection phase. How To Apply - The eligible aspirant can send their application to the IG BSF in different States of India in a prescribed form pattern. The application must be send along with Postal Order/ Bank Draft of Rs. 50/- as application fee. The application must be send by the candidate in an envelope superscribed "APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF __________". The dashed line should be replaced by the candidate with the post name he applied. The document photocopy and affix passport sized photograph must be attached along with the application. The candidate can apply online from the official website of BSF.
