Educational Qualification – Aspirants must have degree in mechanical engineering/Naval Architecture from any AICTE approved engineering college.

Age Limitation for trainee marine engineers –

Aspirant’s age must below 28 years as on 01.01.2013. Upper age relaxation would be determined as per the government rules.

Selection procedure – Candidates selection will be based on written test and interview performance. Travel expenses will not be given by SCI.

Application fee – Applicants will be paid Rs. 1000/- (500/- for SC/ST) application fee in favour of Shipping Corporation of India ltd. Mumbai’s, A/c No.10972426052 in any state bank of India branch. The application fee will be paid before applying online.
